Purple Wildflower

Purple Wildflower is the bloom in her hair.

The companion piece to Mellow Woman, this work lives in the same electric world — swirling pink petals, looping strokes of deep teal, and a center that blazes in electric chartreuse and yellow-green. It is a flower the way Wild Woman is a portrait: loose, fearless, and impossible to ignore. The dark marks that anchor the stem feel like roots that chose not to hold her down.

Hung together, the two pieces complete each other. The woman and her bloom. The energy and its source. Collected separately, Purple Wildflower still carries that same staccato joy — a painting that moves even when it's standing still.
