Otherworldly arrives in layers — bold botanicals rise from a dark ground, their forms outlined in white with raw canvas still breathing through the paint. She is faceless, as many of my figures are, which is an intentional choice: the absence of a face is an invitation. You bring yourself to her.
The colors here are the ones I keep returning to — electric blues, deep mauves, charged greens, a pink that refuses to be quiet. There's a chalky note still visible on the canvas, a reminder that this piece carries its own working history. The roughness is intentional. The rawness is the point.
